The first picture represents the west coast invation
for the official release party for Crazy Nights. There was a NY party
as well. The invite looked the same, it just had a different address
on it. The second photo is the other side of the invite. The third photo
is the Crazy Nights tour book. This was everyone's bible while the band
was out on the road. It gave you a day to day break down of all the
activities. Arrivals, departures, accommodations, press activities and
more. The next three items came from when I was helping out back stage.
The band did a great deal of meet and greets during this tour and there
were many different passes made available. We were given the sheets
to read and to post backstage so no mistakes would be made. The last
item featured was a new marketing tool for the band. They created the
KISS Platinum Express Card. It went out to mostly radio program directors.
It took hours to insert the cards into the specially designed envelopes
and address them and finally mail them out. A special phone line was
created for these members and I remember how kool it was when the phone
would ring and instead of the numbers 7455 appearing on the screen (the
main number) KISS in red lights would come up so we knew how to answer
the call.
