I was lucky enough to have Alex visit my booth at the San Diego Comic Convention in August of 1999. I was familiar with the outstanding work he did for Penthouse Comics and various works from the Frazetta Illustrated Magazine. I gave him a few photos to take back to Italy with him and we kept in touch via email. We started laying the ground work for some upcoming projects and late September I received a package in the mail containing the original art of "Red Stacy". He did it as a sample piece for a calendar we are planning to pay tribute to various characters. I was overwhelmed by it's beauty as it was very different from anything I had done in the past. In addition to the calendar, Alex has signed on to illustrate some of my original characters and I am just thrilled to be working with him.
